So for reference, the other 3 Hoyoung skills; Iron-Gale-Fan, Ground-Shattering-Wave, and Earth-Stone-Tremor can all have their "true" version activate simply by holding the skill + the direction key.
Heaven-Consuming-Flames however, does not work this way, even though the description reads the exact same as the above mentioned skills. You cannot hold up + skill in order to activate the true effect. This is the primary reason for this bug report.
However, additionally, by trying to activate the skill based on its description; Skill + Up + Skill, it still has an inconsistent activation, only working about 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time it just sends in the clone.
I've tried many different methods of getting it to work, such as;
1. Hold Up + Hold Skill //Doesn't work at all (as mentioned before)
2. Hold Up + Skill + Skill //Works about half of the time
3. Hold Up + Mashing the skill button //Works consistently, but makes this skill an absolute nightmare to use
4. Up (release) + Skill + Skill //Similarly to #2, it works about half the time
Lastly, yet another reason I'm reporting this skill - is due to its inconsistent followup behavior with Nimbus Cloud. On the times where I can get it to successfully activate, Nimbus Cloud itself does not consistently activate. So if I'm trying to do Nimbus Cloud + Consuming Flames + Nimbus Cloud, half the time the second Nimbus Cloud will not work. When it does, most often it only "kicks in" after I've already "fallen" a substantial distance, which kind of negates the point of trying to do this combo in the first place. It should be more responsive and activate immediately when prompted - but it seems like there's some sort of built-in delay to making it work that way.
So to re-iterate there are 3 reasons for this bug report, in order of importance;
1. Holding Skill + Holding Up does not work for Consuming Flames (True) the same way it does the other Hoyoung skills
2. Skill + Up + Skill does not reliably activate the true effect either.
3. Nimbus Cloud does not reliably work after using Consuming Flames, and when it does, its only after the character drops a substantial distance.
For reference, I'm on 300mbps fiber internet on a desktop running a GeForce 1080ti, which is to say that I don't think that my ping or FPS should be the cause for this failing.
Thank you.
