Game has changed resolution and now freezes are 2s

Good afternoon folks

Normally the game woulds open in a high resolution 1/4 screen box to log in , and then go full screen .

Yesterday , mid game, the game froze and after Tabbing out , the game reloaded full screen in the " traditional" resolution it did 5-10years ago
When closing the game and relogging , it now tries to load in much lower resolution and freezes instantly . if I tab out and reopen the game it will work until I click anything ( like which server i want to play on " and then it will freeze .

Any idea's guys ?

I've tried reinstalling , and i've tried altering the graphics option in windows like its says in technical solutions for black screen.

Any help would be great
