Make Cubes Tradable through Auction House
The amount of cubes you can get is extremely limited and you need a lot of them for potential tier ups/ rolling good potentials.
However because you can't trade cubes people sell cube services.
So the buyer of the service trades their items, the seller cubes the item, then trades it back for mesos.
This is bad for two reasons:
1> False RMT Bans: The random trade of an expensive item can trigger a false RMT warning on people's accounts, causing some people to go out of commission for a week or more and even quit
2> Honor : Doing this is very unsafe as people can just run with your items, however this is not an issue in good aliances and guilds. Still this alone limits your cube usage to the cash shop or your guild/alliance/friends.
Maybe that's what it's all about though. Make cube quantity limited to promote heavy spending on cash shop cubes.
Although I agree that this mentality promotes cube spending, I also don't believe that cubes being changed to tradeable will impact cash shop spending at all.
There's a limited amount of cubes with a limited amount of time to use it.
Every guild community is exchanging cube svc and this simply makes cubes more available while taking away the risks of an already existing market.
