Golems forcing game close

Doing the introductory quest for explorers in Henesys, and have been sent to help Bruce with the Golems. However, whenever I attack any of the golems in the first section, it force closes the game entirely. I've reinstalled the game twice, and attempted the repair process, but with no success. Has anyone else encountered this?
