QOL suggestion: muting/filtering out megaphones
Greetings everyone,
I am a player from Reboot and I have noticed a big issue with the megaphone spam that has gained popularity for some time now. Every day now, there is someone either hitting level 250, 275 or clearing Black Mage. Whenever someone gets this achievement, players congratulates simultaneously which causes smega spam that disrupts communication between friends, guild mates, ally, etc.
After speaking with a lot of players who experienced this frustration, we came up with a great idea for a QOL change that could be implemented into the game. The idea would be to either have the option to mute smegas from the options settings or to filter them out in the current “New” tab in the chat window.
Currently we are forced to witness smega spam and the only “solution” that is not really ideal is external chat. This comes with the issue that not everyone uses external chat.
I have sent a ticket about this problem, I have been responded that this idea was forwarded to the game team and it was suggested to me by the GM to post this QOL change in this subforum to gather the feedback of other players.
What do you think about all of this? Has smega spam affected you and do you feel like it has disrupted your communications? I want to know your opinions on this subject and how you all feel about having a way to optionnally filter/mute smegas in game if you wish to.
