Lara character not able to assign skill points

Hello!
So I initially made a Lara on Burning(not currently burnable) but when I started getting skill points for the second level, the game wouldn't let me assign them to the skills I wanted. I tried everything I could think of, started new character on another world, checked my settings in game and out, switched from steam launcher to regular non steam launcher and reinstalled all files. This issue started after the last update so...any ideas?
