Cannot Create Burning Character

Twice now I've tried to make a new Mega Burning Character in the Burning server, not having made a burning character since Part 1 of the current update.
All I get is "Request Failed" and a level 1 character I have to wait an ENTIRE DAY to delete. I tried before the most recent maintenance and afterwards.
