Ursus black screen on loading

I have played ursus many times - I have gotten SSS. Today the first time I loaded the screen was completely black until I wound up in the reward screen and I had 0 damage and E (if the player can't even attack - it should not be counted against them). The second time it was grayed out and I could barely see a little movement so I randomly mashed attack keys (it never went to a normal screen) but I managed to get an A. The final time it was normal. I have had a black loading screen for a few seconds going in but I have never had it for the full battle.
