Service is down since may 2nd?

I don't see any announcments about this one but I can't login to the service since the may 2nd patch. When checking the "game status" section I see that cross world 1 is unavailable - how long would that continue and why didn't we have any aanouncments regarding this one? 48h of the game being shut down is a big deal
