Unable to claim Destiny Pre-registration rewards

So I realized that I was unable to claim the Destiny Pre-registration rewards?
Upon making a new adventurer class for the event, I see no way to claim the rewards in the UI?

Is there a way to resolve this issue?

    You can only claim the rewards on a character above level 61. You might need to relog after reaching that level, to make the giftbox notifier appear.
