1 week before being able to cash the 20,000 maple

I've just recently hit 220 with an explorer, excited about being able to complete the pass with the maple points
However after hitting 220 I was struck by the coupon apperantly taking a whole week to be used and this'll be only after the event ends...
I don't get this limitations and in my opinion it wasn't stated boldly enough causing huge discomfort for many players... This should be compensated or at least reverted!
