V.240 update installing over 100% of total

For the 3rd time when trying to update from v.239 to v.240 my game launcher continues to show 90% of the download completed but the amounts are 24.19GB/24.19GB and then the left number continues to rise. I had let it update earlier when I left the house but when I returned it was at 100GB/24.19GB. I've tried restarting the download and even trying to uninstall the game but it keeps coming back to trying to download 24.19GB of data.

Am I uninstalling the game improperly? Is there more I have to do to uninstall MapleStory to try to get a fresh reinstallation?
