Ok, so this seems to have been an ongoing issue for some years now, starting 2020 with sanctions on Crimea that affected the whole Ukraine access to the game which was resolved.
Fast forward to the beginning of the war and a new executive order with sanctions on the temporarily occupied areas of DNR and LPR and Nexon has once again blocked access for the entirety of the country despite the fact that the actual areas affected by the sanctions comprise less than 15% of the country itself.
The issue of the block seems to have been raised by a fellow Ukrainian Mabinogi player circa May 2022 and have been resolved ever since, however, I have been trying to resolve this issue through the player support team for the past year. I haven't pushed it forward too much since I was living in Poland for some time and I had access to the game and I thought that given the fact that the support told me that the issue will be forwarded further, it still hasn't been resolved, and I'm back in Kyiv right now and I cannot access the game without a VPN which I prefer to not use to avoid any unjust bans in the future knowing that this is something that has been solved in a different Nexon game already, which shouldn't make it a huge problem given how both games are probably working under the same legal umbrella.
After some discussions on a post linked below on the Mabinogi forums, Katherz, who is the community manager of Mabinogi I believe, has informed the Mabinogi players that the access has been restored to the game, excluding the actual real occupied areas of DNR, LPR and Crimea, that are using .ru addresses, and ruzzian internet providers.

I have linked this forum thread to the player support multiple times, received the same copy paste answers 3 times already, without a single touch of humanity whatsoever.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could escalate it further and actually restore access to the game.
