Hyper Burn Existing Characters

I'm curious what the purpose of not being able to burn existing characters under level 200 is. I have a level 187 Demon Slayer I decided I was going to burn until I relized I wasn't allowed to. I decided I would grind it out to level 200 to start burning then I also noticed that burning existing level 200+ characters means you dont get any of the equipments/rewards from 1-200, which means I'd be missing out on the temporary faf set and the eternal flame ring. I didn't really want to start a new character because this one is done all of the boss and other important quests already. Is there something that would make burning a character like this and get the Hyper Burning rewards... unfair?

    You still get those. Source: My DS was level 213 when I started my burn.

    I already threw out the CRA set so I can't screenshot that.

    You however do NOT get the 200+ rewards if you have already past the level for the reward.

    Ok thanks, it's a bit misleading then where it says hyper burning characters created during the event get the rewards. I assumed that meant new characters only.

    I hate this game and the forums make me hate it even more. seems like everyone is miserable playing this game except the people who use it as social media.
