Liberation Quest and Roro the Familiar Manager

I just started doing liberation quest and my first mission is to kill Von leon with only main weapon and secondary weapon. It says i need to remove Roro the Familiar Manager however i cannot unequip it. I saw a reddit where people discuss about this and the problem has not been resolved. can you look into it
