Hi,
I am about to take another Maplestory break - there are things I love about Maplestory and things that I think drag down fun gameplay. I have visual processing issues so reboot is amazing for me - I don't think I could play on a regular server. I have been trying to switch mains but the problem is that my main was relatively far ahead of all my other characters (and I do enjoy it but I really wanted to play a cleric main). Having fragments only go one character is really hard - the drop rate is so slow that bringing up a secondary character is almost impossible and only getting fragments on one character is rough because my main is still the only one that can do decent bossing and I want to keep up with my friends but I also want to eventually get my cleric (who has WAY lower combat power and I need to get better gear) up to being useful. It is a catch 22 because if I focus on my cleric - I fall behind my friends - but if I focus on my current main - I will never catch up. Events only give sol erda which is an issue if you can't get matching fragments. My cleric is now 261 but without access to fragments - is just not going anywhere.
I now have every character 180 or above (and mostly 211 or below - with a few over 250 and one over 265)- which means burminators don't really do anything for me. It shouldn't be too long before all chars above 200 which means I probably won't ever get to do a Tera blink event (this past time I burned my cleric which was already above 200 - and found out you can't participate if your char starts above 200). Honestly it is hard because I loved some of the pre-200 content and I only used the zero 0-100 a couple of times because I wanted to do monster collection, finish some quests I hadn't done, and complete artifact missions but most of that is dead content too.
275 and above is pure grinding - 0-130 is pushed into 0-100, reina strait, fairy academy, gold beach and secret forest of ellodin which I have done so many times there are similar quests (mushroom kingdom, lion kingdom, tangyoon afterlands,...) that I no longer play for fun but just to get through them... 130-200 is mostly bonking, 200-210 is mostly exp voucher and events like midnight dream crusher. I have some quests I have not done that I will try to do but as someone who has played MS for over 20 years, loves the artwork, the lore - I get frustrated by the push to the same quests - the difficulty of figuring out where to grind (seriously - there is not a really good way to look at monster collection or familiars and figure out levels of mobs - or even a way to sort mobs in different regions - things have changed so frequently that most internet resources are outdated)
Anyway as a casual player (and by that I mean someone who has probably played 1-4 hours daily for the last 4 months at least) it is wearing. I get that there are bots - people who have different focuses playing but I would love to just have fun playing again. Which is why I will probably take a few months or a year off again soon so above 270 play becomes fun - another job comes out - or MS has some fun changes.

Also why do you still have pendant of spirit and not prepared pendants of spirit. With the presets - it is too easy to spend 2 hours sitting trying to get to the 30% and then accidentally swap out and lose it. You can't easily swap between grinding and boss fighting without manually switching stuff. Do you really want characters just sitting on maps doing nothing? When I have one - it feels bad to not take advantage of the extra xp but it feels bad just to have to constantly map sit.

I do really like the instanced maps in Cernium - it is nice to be able to share a map without getting in people's way and to be able to quickly know if a map is occupied or not. I also like the page that shows clearly which weekly/daily bosses you have cleared and the whole guide set-up. I wish you would have all the turn-ins/sign-ups in one place and not require every character to do them. It is really frustrating to finish dailies and realize you forgot to accept something or turn in something and have to grind more.
