One of the changes introduced in the most recent update was increased movement speed. On its own, it's not particularly useful, but it was expected to significantly improve the quality of life of hurricane classes because (based on gameplay footage from KMS) the movement speed would stay the same (160) while using hurricane skills.
Despite the change being universally implemented in KMS, Wild Hunter, Corsair, Xenon, and Mercedes still lose movement speed while using their hurricanes.
This is confusing to me because it's an improvement that was clearly meant to be implemented for everyone yet only some classes got the benefits.
It's particularly frustrating as a Wild Hunter main because we spend the overwhelming majority of our time holding hurricane while bossing. Our entire bossing experience is just "Hold down hurricane while spamming jaguar skills and grenades, throw down summons once a minute" so having the extra movement speed while holding hurricane would have been an incredible improvement, but we didn't get it. Hell, we literally have a skill that allows us to move backward WHILE HOLDING DOWN OUR HURRICANE so that we can maintain our damage uptime.
Bowmasters got it.
Wind Archers got it.
Phantoms got it. Phantoms even got it on their literal key-down burst skill that previously set them at 70 movement speed.
Kannas didn't even get 160 movement speed. They're still stuck at 140 yet SOMEHOW their movement speed GOES UP TO 150 WHILE THEY'RE USING VANQ.
"Well, what about the other classes that didn't get it?"
From my understanding,
- Xenon only uses beam dance while iframed and frozen in place
- Mercedes spend 90% of their life doing combos
- Corsair is the only other class in the same boat as Wild Hunter. They deserve it too
Frankly, we got fucked.
Please, for the love of god, give all hurricane classes the movement speed they should have gotten.
