Potential Ways to Simplify Luminous Gameplay (Hypothetical for 2030):

Streamlining the Light/Dark Equilibrium System:

Easier Gauge Management: The rate at which the Equilibrium gauge fills or depletes could be adjusted to make it less demanding to maintain. Perhaps using skills could contribute more evenly to both Light and Dark, reducing the need for strict rotations.
More Lenient Equilibrium Activation: The threshold for entering Equilibrium could be lowered, or the window for switching between modes after the gauge is full could be increased.
Passive Benefits During Gauge Buildup: While not in Equilibrium, Luminous could receive more significant passive bonuses based on the filled portion of the gauge, making the "waiting" periods less punishing. For example, increased damage or defense as the gauge approaches full.
Simplifying Skill Mechanics:

More Straightforward Skill Effects: Some of Luminous' skills could have their effects simplified to be more immediately understandable and impactful without requiring precise timing or positioning.
Reduced Skill Dependence: The class could be made less reliant on cycling through a large number of skills to achieve optimal damage in mobbing and bossing scenarios during the pre-195 levels. Perhaps fewer core skills could be enhanced to be more versatile.
Improved Hitboxes and Targeting: Some skills, particularly those used for mobbing, could receive improvements to their hitboxes or targeting to make clearing maps more efficient with less precise aiming. Reflection is already a strong mobbing skill, but others could be brought up to a similar ease of use.
Enhancing Passive Skills and Base Stats:

Increased Base Damage or Stats: A general increase to Luminous' base stats or the damage multipliers on early skills could improve their clear speed without requiring complex skill rotations.
More Potent Passive Skills: Adding or enhancing passive skills that provide consistent damage boosts, survivability, or utility could make the class feel less reliant on active skill usage for basic training.
Adjusting Cooldowns and Mana Costs:

Reduced Cooldowns on Key Skills: Lowering the cooldowns on essential mobbing or bossing skills would allow for more frequent use and potentially smoother gameplay.
Lower Mana Consumption: Reducing the mana cost of skills, especially during long training sessions, would decrease the reliance on mana potions and make sustain easier.
Improving Job Advancement Skill Progression:

More Impactful Early Job Skills: The skills gained during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd job advancements could be made significantly more powerful and user-friendly for the leveling process.
Clearer Skill Upgrade Paths: The benefits of each skill level could be made more apparent, guiding players on how to invest their skill points for efficient leveling.
Luminous' Current Strengths for Leveling (as of 2024/2025):

Even now, Luminous has some strengths that make leveling relatively manageable:

Excellent Mobbing with Reflection: This skill hits a wide area and bounces between enemies, making it very effective for clearing training maps.
Decent Burst Potential in Equilibrium: While managing the gauge is key, Equilibrium provides a significant damage boost for a short period.
Teleport with Invincibility: Luminous' teleport offers a brief moment of invincibility against physical attacks, which can aid in survivability while training.
Why Luminous Might Be Considered Less "Easy" by Some:

The Light/Dark Equilibrium System: This is the core mechanic and requires understanding and managing the gauge to maximize damage output. It can feel less intuitive than classes with simpler resource systems.
Skill Rotation: Optimizing damage often involves using both Light and Dark skills to build the gauge and then unleashing powerful attacks in Equilibrium. This can require a specific skill rotation.
Buff Management: While not as buff-heavy as some classes, maintaining certain buffs adds another layer of complexity.
