Minor Equipment/Enhancement UI Improvements
Here are some changes that could be made for the enhancement and equiment UI to improve readability and overall use.
Enhancement UI
Remove the level requirement to enhance with newly created chracters.
The new UI is locked until you reach level 20 which prevents those who just created their character from quickly enhancing items. This slows down players who use Legion and storage to get easy Powerful Flames or Clean Slates as they need to be level 20 in order to help. Level 20 may sound easy, but when your goal is to just clean out the failures or flame a something decent, making an army of level 20 mules just to enhance is just annoying.
Stamps and Potential Scrolls
There are tabs for Scrolling, Star Force, Potentials, Bonus Potential, Bonus Stat, Etc. The Potential and Bonus Potential tabs are grayed out when you drag an item without potential since you cannot reroll nothing which makes sense. So far, stamps and potential scrolls are not included in ANY enhancement tab and requires manual searching in your inventory and dragging and dropping it onto you item (or drag or item into it if its a stamp.) Why not just put Potential and Bonus Potential Scrolls and Stamps into the Potential and Bonus Potential tabs respectively? If you put an unpotted item in, you should be able to open the Potential Tab and see Potential Scrolls instead of cubes. Once you give an item potential, the Potential Scrolls will not be shown and cubes will be shown instead. If you have an Epic Potential Scroll, it would be displayed as an option among the cubes if your item is RARE. The same applies for Unique and Legendary Potential Scrolls. For the case with stamps, stamps will be put into their respective tab (Silver/Golden Stamps in Potential and Bonus Potential Stamps in Bonus Potential tab.) Stamps can be used straight for items with less than 2 lines and would vanish from the menu once an item hits 3 lines. All of this replaces the need of having to search your inventory for stamps and potential scrolls by allowing you to use it straight from the enhancement UI.
Memorize Enhancement Menu Settings
We should not need to unclick animations for enhancing and untick details on Bonus Stats on all our characters. Allow us to save those settings across our entire account.
Item UI
Most of this just about the UI's appearance rather than functionality.
Display Scrolling Better
The old item UI displayed the number of scrolls passed scrolls on an item near the name of the item. An Arcane Weapon would had been displayed as: Arcane Umbra Dagger (+10). Players would divide the PURPLE scrolling bonuses in the item's information by (+10) to see how it was scrolled so quickly determine or rather approximate how the item was scrolled. The new system doesn't display the information as quickly as you need to look down almost at Potential to see the scrolling.
Also seeing remaining enhacements and slots that can be restored is harder since they tried to squish it into one sentence. If they separated apart like they did pre UI update, it would be easier since we can easily comb the numbers out at the end of each line. I don't know why but, keeping the numbers at the end makes since we dont need to sift through the sentence of the current one
EXAMPLE:
OLD:
-Superior Engraved Gollux Belt (+5)
Remaining Enhancements: 0
(Available Recoveries: 0 )
Hammers Appied: 2
CURRENT:
Scroll Enhancements 5 time(s)
(0 Remaining, 0 Restore(s) Available)
PROPOSED:
Scroll Enhacements: 5
Remaining Enhancements: 0
(Available Recoveries: 0 )
Display Range as well as Combat Power
Yeah, what gives?
Color Contrast:
Changing the item UI box back so that the remaining stars stand out more so you can easily see the max stars (even though its near impossiblie to hit the max.) Using Light Gray on Black was easy to see. Gray stars on Dark Gray background is makes it harder to see the stars.
