Epic Quest - High Mountain Crashing

Locked out of completing High Mountain due to a crash that occurs at 100% repro rate. After entering the portal during the intro quest (High Mountain - Go to Selazar) the game immediately crashes after the text bubble "Hm?" pops up.

Troubleshooting tried:
1. Verifying game files
2. Restarting PC
3. Updating GPU Driver
4. Turning all effects off (Self & Others) & all graphics to low (maximum performance).
