Reconsider the Dutch Restrictions

Hi everyone,

I'm writing this because the Dutch restrictions on 1:1 trading, the Auction House, and the Meso Market have reached a point where I simply don't enjoy playing anymore.

MapleStory has always been built around a player driven economy. Trading, buying and selling gear, using the Auction House, and the Meso Market are core parts of progression. Removing all of that doesn't just remove a feature, it changes the entire game.

I recently came back, lvl'd a Hyper Burning character to 245, spent NX in the Cash Shop and got excited to play again. Then I hit the same restrictions and realized I can't experience the game the way everyone else can. It's honestly making me quit again after just returning.

I understand Nexon has to follow local regulations, but it feels like MapleStory has taken a much broader approach than other games. Plenty of online games still allow trading and player driven economies in the Netherlands while remaining available here.

I'm not asking Nexon to ignore the law. I'm asking them to review whether these restrictions really need to be this extensive, or if there's a way to give Dutch players access to more of the game while remaining compliant.

Dutch players support MapleStory too. We spend money, we invest time into our accounts, and we deserve to play the same game as everyone else.

I really hope Nexon takes another look at this.
