I love forums and have the perfect ideal
I loved the forum aspect of a game it brought everyone together to talk about a common cause and i think there could be better ways to navigate throughout the site. Some reference need to be added for new players to not be mistaken. One of my better ways of making the forums more easy to navigate is a recent post box it stops me from looking in every single catagory for new post and it helps prevent grave-digging in some situation. Maybe a rank guide showing all the ranks and what they look like and what they mean. More pointless rewards and some harder to get rewards don't post the list on how to get these rewards they will be farmed
Edit: I've founded the badges list and it look good my only problem is you get the same amount of points for 25k like vs 1 like that don't sound right
Edit2: And when i post the thread said ive edit the post but when that my OP and was never changes since my OP

(I don't know why there is no button for it anywhere on the forums)
I'm not sure what you mean by "ranks". We're all just "Member", except for the Nexon staff and the Volunteer Forum Moderators.
The badges are meaningless and the "rewards" are not worth farming (it's not like having more points gives you better privileges on the forums, or any gifts for the game itself). Some of the badges don't even work.
Finally, there's a stickied thread right here in this section specifically for us to post feedback on the forum itself: http://forums.maplestory.nexon.net/discussion/77/forum-suggestions-and-feedback . You should probably post your improvement ideas there.
Seems they're supposed to somehow motivate people to be active on the forums. Kind of like stickers for kindergarteners. But I don't think we need to give people incentive to spam the forums. People should post if they have something meaningful to contribute, not to get a virtual star.
