Yesterday I got some feedback giving me a couple ways to make some mesos. Much appreciated. The 2 ways I was told were farming Cubic Blades, as well as leveling Mining and crafting Cubes. I have been out the game for some time, so if someone could please give me some more detail as to how to go about this efficiently and what to do. Also if you have any other recommendations for making mesos as I've never really known how to make mesos efficiently and have struggled buying pretty much anything other than pots. Highest level characters are 134 Night Walker and 120 Demon Slayer

Here's a link to a good meso farming guide, it also works on non Reboot, it's just that Reboot gives more mesos.

I'm guessing the Reboot world you have the option of selecting when logging in is different from the others then? Like I said it's been awhile. Googling it I see there is a difference in some class skills and EXP gained, etc. So are most people rerolling characters and playing the Reboot server as a main? Is it generally better then the old servers?

Reboot isn't necessarily better, just different. Monsters that appear in all maple versions are tougher (hp/defense wise), but give more xp, making it pretty much the same. For example enemies in Mysterious Path 3 (one of the recommended meso earning spots), are the same as in regular servers.

Drop rate and mesos obtained are increased on Reboot, and instead of having bonus potentials and scrolls, you gain 1% damage every 2 levels.

Pets are the only pay to win items in Reboot, and are never permanent (except one event for Blaster), there are of course other items you can buy for NX, but they don't give any unfair advantages (okay maybe fishing a little, but you'll earn more money fighting monsters in the end). Everything else can be bought for mesos (some meso costing items are in the Cash Shop though).

Trading however is disabled, and most etc, use, and set-up items can be put in the storage, but nothing else, and not even all of them. I'd say it depends on how invested you are on non Reboot, and how much money you might've spent.

Better can vary depending on opinion.

The main difference is that Reboot has options directly to buy items such as Red Cubes and Black Cubes for mesos but in return disabling any form of trade completely. This allows players to just grind without having to worry about possibly buying or selling items in order to upgrade. There are other changes such as mob mesos, exp, hp, drop rates, etc. in order to balance out. Equipment upgrades through scrolling (aside from Potential and Enhancement) are also disabled.

Reboot is also known as the server that you cannot use NX in order to gain a competitive advantage. Such things as direct purchase of Cubes, Philosopher Books or redeeming Marvel Machine codes are disabled in that world/server.
