Why is it that people in canada who buy a karma koin card get taxed in game? when you buy the card $10, $25, $50 in a 7/11 or a pharmacy there's no tax but once u put it to ur account they tax so much. $10 card u get 7,800nx $25 card u get 19,500 and $50 card u get 39,000. it was never like that a few years ago and i remember they only taxed us in stores. I think it's unfair, if ur gonna tax us why do u have to take soo much nx off the card? why not tax us in the stores and not on the card.

It's not a tax, it's an exchange rate.
    Google: "10 CAD in USD"
10 Canadian dollars are only worth 7.45 US dollars, as of today. Nexon is actually giving you more NX than you paid for, if they give you 7.8k.

yes but its not fair because when a customer pick up a card to buy he/she wants what it says on the card. example someone picks up a $10 card to buy, they want 10k nx not 7,800

I don't know why Nexon chose to go the way they did, instead of charging CAD$13.4 for a 10k NX card. I assume it's because the "$10" are printed on the card, whereas the number of NX you get isn't promised anywhere.

If you want to be sure you're getting 10k NX, you can buy the US $10 Karma Koin card at PCGameSupply.com.

Well, When I do buy NX, I never get taxed but it must be how Stores sell Karma Koin. Fun Fact, When I buy Runescape Cards, Yes I do play it. I get taxed. So it depends on Certain things the countries does.

Some currencies are worth more than others. That's just the way the world works, unfortunately.

Because many years ago people living in the US intentionally bought Canadian cards.
