I have been playing GMS since beta version was around. Which was well over 12 years. Now i currently use a battle mage(BAM) as my main, but through experience in using every job, i have noticed that this job lacks a mobbing skills besides Dark Genesis; In which it attacks the whole map, but has a big cooldown time. Every other job has mobbing skill that helps them level faster and ks the hell out of everyone. Meanwhile my battle mage has no way to defend itself due to the fact that i does not have a skill to mob with, with no cooldown. My suggestion would be to make a better skill to mob with for a battle mage. Thank you for reading my discussion and hopefully my suggestion gets a chance to be heard.

BaM mobs quite fine in its current state.

I suggest you use this combo to mob while Dark Genesis is on CD: Battle Burst>Finishing Blow>Teleport (Dark Shock on, obv). There's a timing to it too btw

Once you reach lv. 170, Sweeping Staff is a great mobbing tool too.

Edit: I actually have a video on how it should look!

    Hi,
Yes; sweeping staff is a great mobbing tool as you stated, but remember there are jobs that have mobbing skills without any cool down. This video is beautiful, why? because the map is beautiful, why again? because its FLAT. Not every map is flat like the mixed golem map. The spawn there is beautiful and so is the size of the map but as you get to a higher level it seems that its harder to find somewhere to train. That's why my suggestion is to get a mobbing skill with no cool down, or at least the same ones we have but with less and/or no cool-down.

That mobbing combo should work rough maps too. I haven't been to Dark World Tree on my BaM yet, so I can't confirm.

However, I have trained at Scrapyard (which also has mostly flat maps) and it works fine there too. Technically, BaM already has a few no CD mobbing skills.

That's what you have teleport for. You don't need a flat map. Unlike some classes I can think of (*cough* Hero *cough*).
