Can't open Cassandra's Christmas Present

So I killed the 300 monsters and got the present, but when I try to open it a message pops up that says, "Please try again later".
I tried relogging, and that didn't work. Also, yes, I do have space in my inventory.

So yeah... Great Christmas present huh?

    Probably because you already have the medal from last year, or the year before that, and it's a one-of-a-kind item.
    Drop it.
