Character Cards

Sooooo these pre-leveled character coupons showed up in the cash-shop. I am a Reboot player, but I really wanted to main a Zero. Sadly, I learned that Zero was in non-Reboot worlds only. So I started thinking about what normal world I should play in. THEN, I learned that you need to already have a lvl 100 character to create Zero. Around that time, I checked the Maplestory website and BOOM, pre-leveled character coupons. I wanted to have a Xenon or a Blaster as my second main, but apparently you can't use them with the character coupons. May I ask why they are not allowed, as well as all the other characters (Hayato, Kanna, Cygnus Knights, Shade, and Kinesis)

    1. "You can purchase a card as long as you already have a character on your account at the same level as the card you are buying." So you must level at least one character the old-fashioned way.
    2. Zero is currently closed for creation, so even if you make a level 100 character you won't be able to make a Zero.
    3. I assume the excluded classes are because they have too many mandatory story quests that are essential to their skills, and if you auto-level you skip them and end up with a broken character. I don't know for sure, though.

    1. It says on your account and I have a lvl 100 phantom on Reboot and a lvl 100 Evan (but I want to play on Broa).

    2. I know, but I just want to prepare for Zero.

    3. That makes sense, thank you.

    1. According to this, you have to buy the card on the character that is already level 100, and the card is applied to a free slot in the same world.

    2. I recommend waiting for a Burning Event to make a character and level it "normally" (but 3x as fast due to the burn).
