max char slots hasnt been increased
Hello Nexon. I would love to try the new Tanjiro job. But i do NOT want to delete one of my chars to be able to. I have no problem with buying an extra character slot coupon from cs. But it tells me i'm at maximum already. In the update you definately stated you have raised the cap by 1 ! So why can't i increase my char slots? I'm at 55/55 and the maximum should've been raised to 56. Please fix properly this time. Wouldn't be the first time the first fix didn't fix all.
FYI i also would not like to suddenly be missing the lowest level char from the char selection screens because you forgot to change the cap somewhere in the code. I think (and this is worrisome) that there are actually at least 2 or 3 places in the code where it sets a maximum.
I believe the game code still has a feature where, if you have MORE chars than the cap (according to one spot in the code), it will only show the (cap) highest level chars and hide the lowest level ones beyond the (cap). This stems from the first time that you merged worlds into aurora. Back then i was in 4 worlds that all merged into aurora, and the suddenly i had more chars in there than the soft cap (which was 50 then).
There was a system in place that let you switch chars so you could move stuff between them before deleting chars. I had to delete a bunch of chars then to ensure that i could still create a new char next time you added a new class.
I think it's now like the 3rd time you messed this up because the character cap is not simply in one place in the code.
Safe to say after 16 years of playing the game, i'm not about to quit over this, but i'll be pretty unhappy if i can't play Tanjiro soon. But i'll be more unhappy if you force me to delete one of my current chars with all the hard work, time and money i put into them !
So, please, fix it properly and fix it soon. And yes, i know, those 2 things kinda sorta seem mutually exclusive. But you've been here before so ehhh you can do this!
Thanks in advance and i'm hoping for a short minor patch or something at best? or maybe you can even fix it on the server, without needing a client patch.
