This was mostly to stop those those who bot on multiple accounts doing the daily quest from flooding the market with fragments and devaluing the work who actually farm it normally. They figured just making it a daily and making the reward larger and personal is fine. If you are only farming for your world only, this is fine since you are doing what was 2 days work for over a week's pay.
The same could be said about how Nodestones from crafting became only account tradeable from full tradeable. Nexon gives us free Nodestones and Experience Nodestones by the hundreds. Those Nodestones, while untradeable could be disassembled and recrafted as tradeable nodestones. Multiply that by the thousands of bots doing this and you got thousands of nodestones from thin air that undercut the actual farmed ones.
All these efforts hurt real players more. Even though it forces freebie/dailies fragments/nodes from becoming tradeable and forces players to farm items, it doesn't prevent botters from already farming nodes and fragments. What is low droprate to them? What is low meso% to them? What is low spawnrate/killrate? They got an endless supply or characters and the stuff we fuss about means less to them since they got sheer number of bots in these farms.
I also don't understand why the contents of autumn surprise bags aren't tradable. There were some nice rings inside that we may never see again and only the people who opened the bags had access to them. Some players ended up with duplicates; why aren't they tradable to sell off and make some profit?
