Astra Secondaries and Non KMS Secondaries
In the Crown update, Changseop announced the new upcoming Astra Secondaries which is next thing we liberate after our Genesis weapons and on the way to Destiny. KMS laid out a notice on how secondary's stats would transfer over including special cases like shields, Zero, Demons with RFS and Dual Blade. While KMS sorts out the conversions for those special classes, GMS has a potential problem coming in a few months.

GMS and some other non-KMS services use other secondaries not listed on the conversion chart. Princess No's secondaries are the BiS secondaries for most classes just because they have a flat stat bonus over LVL 100 "stock." A few Heroes and Paladins use Terminus Shields which is also non-KMS. Dual Blades also use Sweetwater Kataras which are non-KMS. A lot of us invested a ton of cubes and other resources acquiring good lines on these items and we are in fear that our hard word won't be transferred over to the new Astra Secondaries. As soon the notice dropped right after the end of the stream, pretty much everyone in reg server started panic buying regular secondaries from the Auction House because their current PNOs, Terminus Shields and Sweetwater Kataras were ineligible for secondary conversions. It would suck if all the libbed players have to switch to KMS supported secondaries just because they were on non KMS gear and GMS didn't account for that. We would like this upcoming issue to be addressed before it comes and hopefully not have to make/buy new secondaries just to qualify for the Astra conversion.

Dual Blade is the only class which should be concerned..the Astral Sub for them likely wont have that extra boss dmg% on it even if the P-No pot can be transfer to it
and since DB is the only class that actually use Sweet Water Sub.....i wonder if they will make that 1 eligible
so that 1 i'am actually curious what they gonna do about it..they never made P-No sub good for Dual Blade, so that 1 actually raise questions

You are missing the point. Players invested a lot of time and meso in their secondaries regardless if it's PNO, SW or Terminus. Reg players put in more resources in their items since they need to also work on Bonus Potentials and not just potentials and some also need to worry about scrolling and starforcing. We would be devastated to hear if our work put into making these items are wasted. Making a new 5L/6L secondary from scratch isn't cheap. It's less of a DB problem, but more of a REG Server problem with shield users, Terminus Shield and Sweetwater Katara users in Reg being extra screwed. For KMS players, the money went into scrolling shields and Kataras is not accounted for as the new transfer only moves potentials and stars (with additional fees which is already grossly expensive) but they will given the option to buy exclusive scrolls more powerful than their donor items. We get it as it is natural powercreep as secondaries hasn't received any update since 2012 when they were given just after the Tempest Update.
Whenever we get Night Troupe, Reg Server gets the perk of transferring one piece of Weapon, Secondary, Emblem to that of another class and giving it to them. This event has its fine print so only CRA Abso weapons are eligible and only the original LVL 100 secondary and emblems can be transferred. This event isn't flexible as players with PNO cannot convert their secondaries and I get it why it's capped to LVL 100 Emblems and up to Abso on Weapons. I pray the other regions would address that their players use PNO and discuss expanding that list and eventually GMS would add on to address Terminus Shields and SW Kataras in their list.
like i know it would be a huge amount of mesos invest wasted if they didn't end up addressing it but i rly doubth they do nothing(except for DB case)
i'am asking why the huge lack of trust in NX ? i know they done things poorly in the past but lately they been trying harder to get on players good side
like i ain't going out of my way to buy regular sub-weapon, once again why the fear and panic ?
also whoever RUSHED into investing cubes in a regular sub already......thats a huge lack of foresight and patience.....at least wait and see how GMS gonna address it within next month.....like we're still 6 months away from that update

a little unrelated to the discussion but
heck i even told buddies to NOT invest massively into their sub after seeing NX direction with updating items slots with outdated pieces
Heart, Medal new pieces were huge signs(hints) to it that this would happen
with that said here what is likely next to happen
Genesis Badge Upgrade item(so that badge can be starforced(to match up legacy items(Ghost Badge))..similar to Dreaming Belt//Magic Eyepatch.....70% chance
KMS adopting Totem(30% chance)
there was a rumor of Papulatus revamp(I would assume to drop a brand new ring).....50% chance to be a true rumor
a New Title to replace good old CRA Title(65% chance to happen)
other possibilities but much lower chances
Pink Bean Extreme(20% chance), as the NX mascot and the fact we're entering a new era there huge chances of it
i would expect Bean to Team up with Yeti in that revamp with maybe the slime cheering in the background XD
Omni-CLN Hard(8% chance), poor old man could return for his revenge
also if NX would humor me and expand Omega Sector with my previous suggestion that would be peak(0.5% chance of it but i'd be speechles if they do so)
I wouldn't say there's no need to worry, GMS has a long history of screwing their players over even when they claim they're not trying to.
It's best to warn the captain of the ship of rough seas ahead instead of just assuming that he'll notice because he's the captain.
If there's potential for something to get overlooked or Nexon to screw us, it's always worth worrying about and calling it out so they can't say they weren't warned or didn't know about it.
The bigger a stink the community makes about any topic the more likely it is to get addressed. Seeing how important secondaries are, I'd say it's pretty important to make sure that Nexon is aware now.
The fact that we have a 6 month warning of the storm doesn't mean we should wait until it's on top of us before saying something.
The "overreaction" of some players could be the difference between Nexon just saying "players didn't really seem to care" and actually making sure we can transfer.
