Elite Bosses?

For the 3rd timed reward for the play V event, you need to participate in an elite boss. I know they can be spawned by fighting monsters around your level, but I can never seem to spawn them and you can't progress past the 3rd reward until you've participated in a fight against one. What's their spawn rate and what's the best way to find/spawn one?

    for summon an elite boss is quite simple
    all u need is be persistant and grind on a map with mobs of ur lvl till map says dark
    usually to summon an elite from 0 require summon 10 big mobs saiing ''grim'' + 4 big mobs saiing ''dark'' when u kill
    after the 4 dark big mobs i assure you next 1 is elite boss
