so far it seems like its almost impossible to do the event.. since the portals never spawn.. grinded for over 12 hours yesterday and not one portal spawned

    Your most likely training in an area that is out of your level range. Make sure that the mobs your killing are within level range.
    assuming you are over 150, you are probably training at something out of your level range. Unfortunately, for some reason the portals only spawn in regular level range, not modified 150+ "in level range"

    cc from time to time and attack and hope it spawns. if u want u can always keep attacking for min of 3 hrs for the red wolf or 30 min for the yellow (bound to pop up) then c/d periods.

    In much the same way as you need to be within the level range(name is white, not red, orange or yellow) of what you're killing to spawn elite monsters and bosses, you need to be within the level range of what map you're in for portals to spawn. You also need to not be in any of the World Tour maps. These include the area around Krexel, Mysterious Path 1-3 and the Ghost Ship, Singapore, Malaysia and etc.
