Hello everyone,

I thought I would post my findings on the MMF event, and I'd like to hear some of what you've done so far. How long have you survived each level? What's your best level? What's your favourite level? What's your favourite song? If you could have one of the chairs, which would you want? Got any of the chairs yet?

My findings:
LevelPossible Proven Score
HenesysPerfect
AriantA
Kerning CityPerfect
Temple of TimePerfect
SleepywoodPerfect
Rankings:

    Henesys: Perfect
    Ariant: A
    Kerning City: SSS
    Temple of Time: SSS
    Sleepywood: SS

80 seconds = S rank, 83 seconds = SS, 85 seconds = SSS. I think. Seems 90 seconds is good enough for a perfect, too, from a vid I saw on youtube.

What's annoying about Ariant is that the rehearsal stage is completely different from the live stage after 20ish seconds... though the live stage is a lot easier. The last few seconds are hell though D: Haven't managed to get past 79 seconds...

In terms of difficulty, from lowest to highest I'd say Henesys -> ToT -> Kerning -> Sleepywood ->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ARIANT

Fave song is between ToT and Ariant. I really REALLY want the Meister chair, or whatever it is for getting a perfect on all levels. But Ariant x_x

I really want to clear Kerning but I can't figure it out. I'm like 20 seconds away from clearing ToT though.

Looks like I'll have to work on Kerning City next. Sleepywood has been proven possible to get perfect.

EDIT: Kerning City has been proven possible to get Perfect on. Only Ariant is left!

DAAAAAANG someone on Reddit just posted the MLG strat for Ariant lmao. If you hold still RIGHT where you spawn, none of the flames will hit you :D need a Mano shell though, otherwise you'll get zapped every time the FOOOOOOM happens. Just gotta check that it's possible to dodge most the bullets in the middle, though... and there's still one unavoidable sound wave hit near the end.

Well, off to hunt Mano to extinction!

Are you going for the All-Star chair? XD GL! That chair looks so awesome! Let us know what the stats on the medal are, too!

ehehe, Nexon says that Sleepywood is the hardest level :p Don't give up! And don't worry, there's still like, two weeks left in this event I think? Mano shells might help too!

I just tried it in rehearsal, it seems to be really buggy though... like, my computer legit froze when I left the stage as Mano lol. The other rehearsal I tried, I had to relog after the attempt cuz none of the UI buttons were working after...

So either I'm doing something wrong, or I'm gonna need one Mano shell per attempt lmao. Poor Mano's gonna have a baaaaaad day today...

Also, you still need to crouch to dodge the FOOOOM as Mano it seems (but you won't get hit by the flames while ducked), and jumping in the safespot lets the flame on the left hit you.

I think for this event, we'll let others figure out the secrets for themselves.

I'm just going to try and find my own way xD

    OMFG

    SSS RANK baBYYYYYYY!

Perfect is HELLA possible - I screwed up royally in that run though, getting hit three got dang times in the middle of the run >.< If I coulda just tanked that last hit, I would've been POIFECT!

Also, I ended up not using Mano, cuz it kept crashing lol. But still, that Reddit post helped a lot with me finding another safe spot to camp out the last twenty seconds XD

NOT looking forward to having to do this again on my main though... the last part takes hella accuracy and luck to pull out of my arse... on the bright side, if I execute it correctly, I'll be one perfect closer to the ALL-STAR chair!

EDIT: Cleared it on my main, but messed up at the end this time D: ending up with the same SSS rank...

EDIT2: Ughhh, and up to 89 seconds. wtfffff. Only made a tiny error this time though D:

    Welp, someone already shared all of the videos for all the stages. Look like this event just became a colossal waste of time... ;-;

It seems to happen for every difficult event. Someone finds tricks, posts videos, and then hundreds of people beat the event doing absolutely no work at all. So freaking annoying to those of us who actually did the work to get the event items...

You can still win the same rewards.
How does it hurt you that other people can get them too?

A programmer spends 180 hours working on a problem for a contest. Anyone who figures out the problem gets $1000. He submits his code and is pleased to find that he won. A week later, he hears that someone posted code on a website that solves the problem. Everyone else in the contest uses this code. Since everyone won, the contest no longer gives $1000, but $5.

Would you be a little angry?

Actually, I don't know WHY I'm asking you, because from your forum posts it's clear you're one of those people who thinks everyone should all get the same rewards, no matter how little work they put into a contest.

But the reward is not reduced. It's the exact same chairs. And they're not even tradeable, so you can't say their market value is reduced.
This isn't a contest, like the Maple Runner. It's an event. Most events give the same rewards to everyone. You're saying an event is worthless if you can't win something nobody else has?

Is there an easy trick to getting perfect on Sleepywood/Kerning? I'm not seeing the vids o_o And I don't mind if everyone else gets the chairs - it was still fun to figure out the stages!

Mmm, it might make him sound sorta jerkish (and also me for not sharing the vids lol), but what he means is that if fewer people have a really cool chair, then it makes them look way more impressive than if a lot of people had that really cool chair. I may have felt the same way when they released the Lotus Leaf Chair as a gach item lol. I used to love whipping it out and having people compliment me on my chair and offer billions of mesos for it :3 and then blushing and telling them "haha, s' not tradeable". The Lotus Leaf Chair didn't require skill and practice, though; just diligence and the willpower to not spend the coins on a white scroll.

In other news, I perfected sleepywood on a mule, but can't seem to do so on my main...

I see you enjoy putting words in other peoples' mouths to make them look bad. Pro tip: That isn't something you want to do in the real world. It makes you look like a manipulative jerk who twists the truth.

Who cares about market value? Who said that the only measure of something is in its price?

Yes, the reward is reduced. The chair is no longer "I am skilled at dodging objects and memorizing patterns", it becomes "I can watch a YouTube video and copy everything that person does." It's no longer skill, it's copypasta. And sorry, but it's both an event and a contest. A contest doesn't always mean there's winners and losers. A contest is a test of skill: sometimes between players, sometimes against yourself/time.

So your personal satisfaction from being able to dodge objects and memorize patterns, is tarnished by the fact that not everyone will know you did it yourself?
(I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm rephrasing to see whether I understand your meaning).
