Burning character "Request Failed" take 3

Speaking of recurring issues, seems this one is back: if you make a burning character, delete it, and try to burn a new one, you get "Request Failed".

According to some posters, if you wait 24 hours after deleting the first character, you should be able to burn a new one. Since it hasn't yet been 24 hours since the event started, we can't be sure it works now (and the old threads seem inconclusive about it).


We had two of these Burning Projects in December, and they both had the same issue:

There were more threads for both of the previous burning events but I think that's enough to prove a point.

(Note that this issue was not reported for previous Burning Projects, the ones that allowed burning existing characters).

    I've merged all threads of the matter of deleting a burning character and receiving "Request Failed" for a new one into one large thread, so all the feedback on the matter is collected in one place. Hopefully a resolution can be made.
    For anyone currently experiencing this issue, we request the below:
    1. Attempt to create a burning character, keeping note of the server time (UTC).
    2. Provide the character name you attempted to use, the world you attempted to create the character in, the server time mentioned above, and your main character's name (for identification).
