Dragon Link Skill Issue

It's been years since I have played as a Kaiser and back then the dragon link skill combos worked perfectly. Apparently it has changed a lot and I'm not sure if it's working correctly. I keep pressing the right buttons to do it but it's not working. Is the Dragon Link Skill broken for Kaisers atm?

    Not really. You just need new hands to play Kaiser now.
    You'll also need a new, extremely customized keyboard.
