I can't find a quest item for mercedes story

I have a quest called "Wild Goose Chase" where I need to collect one quest item called "Tongue Twister Scroll" but i tried to hunt for a while and it didn't show up even once, which means i can't progress the story at all, i tried in maplestory's discord about it and someone said this item does not exist anymore, how am i or anyone else going to do mercedes' story without being able to complete this quest?

I heard the drop rate is very low.

thanks for telling, i tried once more and after a while after fighting an elite wild boar i got the item

Just finished that quest. Was farming for a good 10 mins didnt get it. Let the area and came back got it as the first drop. That or channel changing as said above should wo
