Locked in a Shade storyline quest

My Shade Cakeiike is currently stuck in the Lvl 50+ story quest: Phantom's Other Hideaway.
Even after killing the lock, the character cannot use the vault portal.
Cannot leave, cannot teleport out, cannot forfeit quest, if I die to the lock I respawn in the story map.
Resetting the map or relogging does not appear to change anything.

Character is lvl 60, already did 3rd job advancement quest.
