Aran Normal Attack

Hi, I have an Aran and I wanted to attack with other types of weapon besides polearms, like 1h swords, axes, maces, etc. I don't wanna SP reset nor use all my MP. Is there another way? (No crouching)

    Nope. Smash swing is bound to the normal attack key. Same goes for demon slayer with demon lash, kaiser with dragon slash and cadena with chain arts: thrash.

    That being said, why would you want to normal attack anything ever? Not only that, but why would you ever want to use a weapon that's not for your class? Just because you can equip it doesn't mean it's advisable to do so.

    I don't think so. Aran's normal attack turns into skill attack I think. So even if u have other warrior wep that's not polearm, it simply won't let u do anything and say "aran can't use this wep" on the system message

    I just wanted to test some weapons' attack animation without crouching. Guess I'll need to transfer them to another character :/

    Every weapon of a given type attacks the exact same way. If you've seen it once you've seen it a thousand times, really.

    Not sure of Aran interaction, but the mimics bonus stage after eboss, mobs that are restricted to normal hits only, etc.
