illium combo/fast casting problem

So I'm trying to level up my illium again for fun and possibly second main just for gigs. But I'm having a lot of problems with the javelin orb combo. I watched the videos on the combos but I can't seem to get it to work. With sticky keys whatever key I have on the Alt Ctr or Shift key seems to be the only one that comes out. It comes out at twice the speed but I only get one of the skills. People say that it needs to be orb on one of the keys and I tried that but it was just the same result. Help would be appreciated.
