I personally would LOVE to see the Lioner, Grupin, Celion as a pet trio. They're so adorable. The little unicorn kitty creatures would make fabulous pets
This isn't really a discussion topic. This is just how I feel about the changes to the game.
I have been playing MapleStory for over 11 yrs. I started playing just after the 1 year anniversary. So much has changed. Most of the changes have been improvements that were sorely needed. However, the changes that have taken place most recently are disturbing, to say the least.
Let me give you a little background information on myself. I am a 45-year-old wife and mother. I love gaming. I've been a gamer since I got my first gaming system at the age of 9, it was an Atari 2600. I have NEVER hacked, never considered hacking, never had a false ban and I'm not currently banned. I don't even meso farm. I guess it's a good thing I didn't cause I probably would've gotten banned like so many did. I rely on my bossing and daily quests to make mesos. Now you've incorporated a system that is ridiculous. This is supposed to be a social game yet if you party for a boss or to get guild contribution, you make even less mesos. I realize in your recent letter you're working on a way to fix this aspect for Reboot. I thought Reboot was the best thing when it came out. I could finally play and advance on my own without spending my hard earned money. Cause as a wife and mother, I have real bills to pay and can't sink money into a game for kicks and giggles. Being an adult, I also couldn't go to mommy and daddy for an allowance. For a while, I did buy surprise style boxes and sell the merch in free market to make mesos while I was still playing on a regular server but it was very costly. An expense I simply couldn't keep indulging in for a game.
Next, let me address the issue of these bans. Let's face it, I really don't think you know if you're banning legitimate players or actual hackers. I've been seeing hackers win their ban appeal. Your servers experience a great deal of lag and when you pair that with someone who may not have the best internet, they lag even more. Thus resulting in the GM police. New players aren't aware they should just stop attacking. They may not even realize they are lagging. Anyway, get enough of those GM police disconnects and then you're banned. Now you're saying you stand by those ban decisions. When people do try to appeal and speak to live chat, submit a ticket etc, it's almost the same response. It's like you use a form letter or an automated answer. I see hackers who are blatant and brag about their hacking, some don't try to hide it at all. In game reporting is a joke. The ones that have the hack that automatically moves them to another channel if someone enters the map their on are almost impossible to catch to attempt to try to report.
I'm truly appalled by some of the recent changes and am seriously considering quitting. All of this stuff going on, these changes that have been implemented just aren't fun. It seems as though you're wanting everyone to just get fed up and quit the game.

Edit Note: In case anyone is wondering about how superior Nexon's equipment is, I'll include a screenshot of a live chat I had. I did rate the chat as "Bad" but only due to the disconnect, NOT because of the GM. He/She was actually quite helpful.
I've completed both of the V tracker missions that give cubes and did not receive the master cubes or the meister cubes.
There are no steps to reproduce as it is a one time thing they cannot be reproduced.

Just tried to use the smega from V tracker and it didn't go off either. So that's a fail as well. Even our guild smega didn't work. What's up with that?? smega used at approx. 11:28pm EST
My son learned the F word in daycare at the age of 3. He's learned more curse words in school and from tv. Seeing them in game now it's old news to him. Most kids today have seen, heard, or done worse already. I think they should give us the option of a filtered chat or not. They could put it in system options. They could make age verification part of opening your account for the first time or something. I mean there are ways to give us an option rather than get censored for saying bu* ***, but its not gonna happen.
Did all of our previous forum posts disappear? Is there a way to search and see if we got replies or answers? Do we need to repost them altogether? I do love the new format but it's going to take some getting used to.
