The
Auction House System is one of the main attractive points of regular servers and a huge upgrade to the previous Free Market system.
However, I would argue that it needs improvements. Revising the system would perhaps have the following benefits:
+ more players would use the auction house if they have a more positive experience
+ improving it would make players use it more often and longer => players being logged in longer (like when you do online-shopping and time flies by)
WISHLIST FUNCTION:
Current function quoted from the website
Up to 10 items can be added to the Wish List, in the order added.
Wish List will be reset during maintenance of the game or Auction House.
Items that have already been sold cannot be purchased again.

Issues:
+ You can only wishlist items that are currently being sold in the auction house
+ You cannot wishlist items that are not actively listed in the auction house
+ You can only add 10 items to your wishlist.
Requested improvements:
+ Rename the current wishlist function to "Cart" or "Shopping Cart" instead, because this is exactly what it is.
+ Add a new function that actually works like a wishlist:
- you can add items that that have or have no active listing but exists in the database .
- wishlist entries up to 30 or 50 items should be allowed, instead of only 10
- there should be no expiration on the wishlist entry
- the wishlist gets reset after a maintenance, that's why it is important to be able to wishlist items with no active listings so they can be added back to the wishlist
OFFER AKA REVERSE SEARCH FUNCTION:
The auction house has no function that enables players to make offers on listed items or unlisted items.
Sometimes players hold on to their items and don't list them in the auction house because the current price listing is too low for them to want to part with their item (e.g. they want to sell their NX item for 1B mesos but the current listings are below 500m mesos).
They might also not want to sell their items because there are no active listings so they don't know the worth of the item (for e.g. I own a pair of NX boots but there are no current listings so I hesistate to list my item because if it's too high then no one will buy it and I will have to re-list it after 24 hours. If someone buys it then I don't know if this was the right price or if someone snatched it up because I priced it too low).
Being able to see offers that players make on an item would help items being sold more often and having more circulation of an item in the auction house. It would help the seller getting rid of their item faster by accepting a price offer instead of waiting for their item to be seen and sold.
TIME EXTENSION FOR ACTIVE LISTINGS:
The current time duration for an active listing is 24 hours. It would be great to be able to choose between 24/48/72 hours.
Well, that's it. I'm not sure how feasible the ideas are but I would love to see improvements for the auction house.
