Is there a way to do this? All I see is a spot to put the URL to a picture.

    When you're typing, you should see a row of buttons above the text box, sixth button (image) is the one for embedding pictures, but you have to upload on an online site (photobucket, google drive, etc) and then put in the link.

    Most forums such as this one use BBCode, which allows you to post images using the IMG tags.
    [img]Image URL here[/img]

    Image URLs must end in a proper image extension (jpg, gif, png) in order to work properly.
    https://imgur.com/Fv5dbMS will not work, because it's a link to the post on Imgur and not the image itself.
    https://i.imgur.com/Fv5dbMS.png will work

    So: 
    [img]https://i.imgur.com/Fv5dbMS.png[/img]
