Problems:
1.) Just to log in it takes me about 5-10 Disconnects before it actually decides to go through.
2.) Please fix Event Hall. You guys say "We are looking into the problem". Yet people already found the problem. Take the goddamn invisible NPC's out of the Event Hall.
3.) You guys put out a new event and then when there is 2x exp/drop it's laggy as crap. Then you guys decide to do the same thing, Minor maintenance to fix the lag. Why don't you guys just stabilize the servers with the update so it's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
4.) DRPQ is still broken. You remember that V event for V coins with Cassandra. I guess that meant you guys put out an event that was impossible to complete from the start and still didn't fix it before the event ended.
5) You guys don't even listen to us. We ask you time and time again, to put the moon bunny for the SS ring, and the new event shop outside of the event hall, so that the people who don't have a super good computer/laptop can access the things like the shops, and quests.

They. Do not. Care. If they did, they would've have fixed some of the issues that have been around for months.

If they seem to care so little to you, why are you still here?

Seriously, Nexon needs to fix the servers, like the game is basically unplayable during 2x EXP/Drop and now im disconnecting before i even get to log into the game. At this point it makes me question whether the game is even worth playing.

That is one possible speculation that one person has come up with. Another theory by the exact same person is that it's caused by one or two individual NPCs. A third theory is that there is a data leak on specific platforms.
We actually don't know what causes the issue, although we have some pretty good guesses.

There is a point where negativity becomes excessive. As of right now a majority of your 150+ comments are mostly Nexon bashing, I would advise you to either let up or start being constructive; just posting "they don't care" over and over helps no one.

    It is unfortunate
Those who use illegal programs do not have these problems
Before the game was more popular that today there were no such problems

Say it is only a minority that present these problems?

The problem in event hall is the same as the problem in labyrinth: excessive effects in map/plataform. Somehow the algorithm that is being used to draw the plataforms are too heavy for most PC's to handle it. The solution is very simple: change the plataforms for a simpler one.

I doubt it. It's got to be something with Cassandra and the admin. Before the event hall we had town lag in every town where the two of them appeared. Who would have guessed moving them to a new map wouldn't make trying to talk to them or any other npc in the map any less crash inducing?

It has very little to do with the graphics of the room (other than the NPCs' seasonal costumes).
Several people have observed that they lag a lot more with old or main characters (that have a lot of data associated with them: quest history, full inventory, etc) than with new characters or barely-used mules.

It might be a combination of all these things. It might be hard to pinpoint and fix.

However, one thing is clear: As long as Event Hall lags so much for so many players, new event NPC's and shops should NOT be exclusively placed there.
This is hardly complicated to understand or to implement, and Nexon's continued disregard of the issue (first with the Jewelcraft Bunny, now with the New Year Shop and Fireworks NPC, and next, no doubt, with the Sengoku High NPC) says a lot about how much they care about player experience.
