Playing MapleStory with a Controller

Greetings y'all. I'm having fun playing my blaster, but I'm starting to get wrist pain and I worry about hand problems with extended keyboard use.

So then I wondered if I could play MS with a controller. Has anyone done this? Do you have any recommendations for a controller? MS doesn't have quite as many different buttons to press as other MMO's so I feel like it could work.
