Crashing after character log in.

My friend is having an issue where after he enters his PIC to log in the game crashes immediately. This has been going on for almost two months with him, and please, don't give me that answer, "It must be an issue with his PC." He has done so many things to attempt to fix this, even completely factory resetting his computer and nothing has worked. Does anyone know the solution
