(Reporting for Discordian mórk EMS)
Bug type: Item, Skill
Brief bug summary: The Ring of Torment skill is described as granting 15% base exp increase, but it doesn't. The description also fails to include the skill's duration.
More details: The Ring of Torment is an item in the current Marvel Machine reward list. It grants the skill by the same name, whose description is
However, the skill does not actually increase the base exp.
Killing enemies at Arcana, with 100% burning field and a rune buff, I get this EXP without the Ring of Torment Skill
and this EXP with the skill
As can be seen, the only difference in EXP between the two scenarios is the 73k EXP bonus, which is 15% of the base exp (491k). The exp bonuses from the rune and the burning field are unchanged.
If the skill actually increased the base exp, we would see the bonuses from other buffs - burning, rune, HS, etc - increased by 15% as well.
An unrelated issue is that the skill description does not mention that the exp buff only lasts 15 minutes, which means that, since it has a 30-minute cooldown, it's only active half the time.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Kill monsters while using some kind of EXP buff(s)
2. Acquire a Ring of Torment, equip it, and activate the skill
3. Kill the same monsters using the same EXP buff(s)
4. Observe that the EXP increase is only 15% of base, and does not stack multiplicatively with the other buff(s).
5. Observe that the Ring of Torment buff runs out after 15 minutes.

Comments
this image (also from mork) shows the exp with enjoyable winter.
491156 * 1.5 * 1.15 = 847244 = 491156 + 356088
however, as shown in the other two screenshots, it is NOT a base exp increase. A base exp increase the way it works in reboot would also increase the effect of additive buffs such as burning field, rune buff, mercedes link skill, holy symbol, and many others. But the ring doesn't.
I'd like also to really mention how misleading it is for Nexon to advertise the ring the way they did and not even mention it's a 15 minute buff with a 30 minute cooldown. Seriously..
Is the low duration, high cd also intended?
Or maybe we'll get ignored again.
I've reminded Nexon of the issues with this ring.
There's a new issue now, it says the cd is 30 seconds but it's actually 30 minutes. To be honest the ring should be made to be a 30 second cd to make it less trash but that probably won't happen.
