Monster life broken

Summary: Unable to do anything in monster life.

After getting started on monster life, everything worked fine while going through the intro, setting up the farm, and everything else. But after logging in the next day trying to do anything results in that error popping up, telling me to create a farm first. I am still able to recieve a 'first visit of the day' item, but that's it. It also seems to forget if I've chosen a character avatar.
