I placed the horntail egg in the nest and my game crashed. I now cannot enter the nest again and horntail wont seem to drop another egg. I have forfeit the quest and tried again a few times but no avail.

    If you forfeited the quest, did you re-accept it (talk to Raul)?

    Yes, multiple times and then tried taking horntail afterwards multiple times.
