Hey folks,

I was into MapleStory back in 2010 when Aran was released. I’ve been trying to come back for quite a while now, but everytime I start playing, MS has become so huge that I’m getting lost in the cosmos.
Maybe you know some good general guides with information about the potential system (back then I remember potentials being released with a minimum of options), and some other ‘must knows’ I need to have to not be frustrated each time I log in and see so much to do.

Thanks in advance!

Or you can skip out on ever needing to get any equips and just settle on playing the Captain Vaga game mode as a daily thing. It does wonders for unfunded people and it gives good experience, but it has a limit of 20 entries per day.

Otherwise, make a new character and level to 60 (shouldn't take more than 1-2hrs) while doing the Tot's Know-How quests to get a rough idea on "new" stuff.
