How exactly are respawn tokens supposed to work

Whenever I die, it asks if I want to respawn at my current location, I like "OK", and it sends me to town.

    Not completely sure, but I think they might have gotten bugged recently in a maint, normally you're suppose to spawn on the map you died on.

    Yeah, I have the infinite respawn token for the month, and it never brings be back to the map. It's either the perm one that's bugged, or the entire series of wheels themselves. =(
